In household applications, the fragrances are used to impart fresh, marine or citrus notes to shampoos, to create a lingering scent in soaps, to enhance the sensorial experience of creams, and to mask residual odors in laundry powders. When combined with typical surfactants (SLS, SLES) the aromatic molecules adsorb onto fabric fibers, delivering a lasting scent after washing; in cream bases they partition into the oil phase, ensuring aroma persistence throughout the product’s shelf life. Recommended usage levels depend on the product type: 0.5–1 % for mild fragrance in shampoos, up to 2 % for stronger impact in detergent powders. For optimal dispersion, the fragrance is first diluted in a small amount of the IPM/DPG carrier, then introduced into the main batch at 40–60 °C to prevent precipitation. The liquid carrier enables rapid and uniform dispersion in aqueous and emulsion systems, and the ingredients have been tested for stability from –20 °C to +40 °C. Storage in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight is recommended; shelf life is 24 months under proper conditions. Handling precautions include wearing protective gloves and ensuring adequate ventilation, as some aroma compounds can be irritating on inhalation.
