In paper manufacturing PVA 1799 acts as a fiber stabilizer, increasing sheet strength, reducing breakage, and improving printability. Recommended processing guidelines include using stainless‑steel equipment, maintaining solution temperatures between 20 °C and 60 °C, and ensuring adequate ventilation, as prolonged exposure to hot water may generate minor vapor release. For storage, keep the material in a dry, cool environment at 15‑25 °C, protected from direct sunlight and moisture to prevent changes in molecular weight and preserve its performance.
